I live and work on unceded lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Clackamas, Kathlamet, Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya and Molala tribes.

I am endlessly grateful to all who have, and continue to be protectors and stewards of this land. I am also in deep reverence and respect for the land itself and all the creatures who we share this beautiful place with.

I recognize that I am the descendant of colonizers and living on stolen land. I acknowledge this society was built on systemic policies of racism, genocide, slavery, relocation, white supremacy, and homophobia. I understand that the effects of these policies still impact BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people a disproportionate amount, and that I continue to benefit from white privilege. I promise to be an advocate and an accomplice, and to work towards social justice and decolonization through both my words and my actions.

I also acknowledge that the modalities I practice come from a culture that is not my own. Everything I know about the subtle energy body comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and ancient Tibetan and Hindu culture. I name and honor these ancient practices, and am grateful to my teachers and the wisdom keepers that have kept these traditions alive for thousands of years. As a white bodied practitioner I am aware of the fine line between appreciating and appropriating cultures, and stay open to feedback and learning how to do better.

“Colonialism and slavery were the foundations of capitalism”
